What happens to the details and photos you send through this website, who else handles them, and how to have them deleted. Written in plain language, and accurate to how the site works today.
The short version
Used to answer you
What you send is used to reply, talk through your project and give you an estimate. Nothing else.
Stored privately
Form details and photos go to private storage, our inbox and one lead record. None of it is public.
Never sold
We don’t sell or rent your information, and we don’t share it for anyone’s advertising.
Kept only as needed
We keep it as long as we need it for your project. Email us and we’ll delete it.
Visit statistics
Google Analytics counts visits and clicks. It doesn’t receive your name, phone or email from our forms.
Spam checks
Our forms use hidden spam traps and can use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots.
01What we collect
Only what you choose to send, plus a little technical information that comes with any form or page visit.
| What | Why | Where it goes |
|---|---|---|
| Your name, phone, email and how you’d like us to reach you | To get back to you | Private storage, our inbox, the lead record |
| Your project answers: type of work, room or piece, sizes, wood, timing, budget range, town and your message | To understand the project and prepare an estimate | Private storage, our inbox, the lead record |
| Photos you attach (optional, up to 5) | To see the space or the piece | Private storage and our inbox |
| The page you sent the form from, and campaign tags on the link you arrived by | To learn which pages and ads bring in projects | Private storage, the lead record |
| Your browser type and the time you sent the form | To troubleshoot problems and spot spam | The lead record and our host’s logs |
| Your IP address, while the form is checked for spam | Spam and abuse protection | Cloudflare’s check and our host’s logs |
| Pages viewed and buttons clicked, without your name or contact details | Visit statistics | Google Analytics |
You don’t need to create an account, and you can browse every page without sending us anything.
02How we use it
- To reply to you by call, text or email, the way you asked.
- To talk through your project, arrange a consultation and prepare a plan, a timeline and an estimate.
- To keep a record of the conversation while we work on your project.
- To see, in totals, which pages people use, so the site gets better.
We don’t add you to a mailing list, and we don’t use what you send to advertise to you.
03Where it goes and who handles it
When you send a form, it goes three places at once, so a project never gets lost if one of them has a problem:
- Private file storage. A copy of your details and photos is saved in a private storage area on Vercel, the company that hosts this website. It isn’t publicly accessible, and nothing on the site links to it.
- An email to us. An email with your details, and your photos attached, goes to an inquiries inbox at EMOR AI, the agency that built and looks after this website, and the inquiry is passed on to us at spencer.stevens@cambiumcustoms.com. An email delivery service may carry the message on its way.
- A lead record. One record of your inquiry is added to EMOR OS, the lead tracking system run by EMOR AI, the agency that built and looks after this website, so a new inquiry isn’t missed.
Those companies handle your information to provide their service to us. We don’t sell or rent it to anyone, and we don’t share it for advertising. We’d only disclose it if the law required us to.
04Your photos
- Photos are optional. You can always describe the space, or email pictures later.
- Your browser shrinks each photo before it’s sent. That also drops the hidden camera data, such as the location where the photo was taken, and our server removes any that remain.
- Photos are stored privately with your inquiry and attached to the email to our inbox. They’re never published, and they never appear on this website.
05How long we keep it
We keep what you send only as long as we need it to talk through, plan and build your project. Want it gone sooner? Email spencer.stevens@cambiumcustoms.com and we’ll delete your details and photos from our storage, our inbox and the lead record.
Copies in our host’s short-term server logs clear on Vercel’s own schedule.
06Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits: which pages are viewed, how people arrive, roughly where they are, what kind of device they use, and clicks on things like the phone number or a form button. It uses cookies to recognize a returning browser. Google says Google Analytics 4 doesn’t log or store IP addresses. Our forms never send your name, phone, email or message to Google Analytics.
While you fill in a form, your answers are saved in your own browser’s session storage, so a refresh doesn’t lose them. That copy stays on your device and is cleared when the form is sent or the tab is closed.
To opt out of Google Analytics on every site, install Google’s opt-out browser add-on, or block cookies in your browser; this site still works. Google explains its side in how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
07Spam protection
Our forms carry hidden fields that only bots fill in, and a check on how quickly a form is sent. They can also use Cloudflare Turnstile, which looks at signals such as your IP address and browser to tell people from bots. Cloudflare says it collects them "not to identify, profile or target any individuals but solely to detect and block bots". Its Turnstile privacy addendum has the details.
08Your choices
- See or correct it. Ask for a copy of what we hold about you, or tell us what to fix.
- Delete it. Ask and we’ll remove it from our storage, our inbox and the lead record.
- Skip the forms. You can always call, text or email instead, and send photos by email if you like.
For any of these, email spencer.stevens@cambiumcustoms.com or call (417) 496-4949 (Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM).
09Children and changes
This site is for homeowners, builders and designers planning woodwork. It isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
If the way the site handles information changes, we’ll update this page and the effective date at the top.
