The build
What we built
A four-poster bed with tall tapered posts, turned finials, low side rails and an arched headboard. The headboard frame holds a raised, arch-topped bird’s-eye maple panel and has a round cutout where the arch meets the post. The posts show stopped chamfers and brass bed-bolt covers.

- Tapered posts and finials Four tall posts taper up to turned finials.
- Stopped chamfers The post corners are chamfered, and each chamfer stops short above the rail.
- Brass bed-bolt covers Round brass covers sit over the bolts where the rails meet the posts.
