The build

What we built

An L-shaped built-in banquette wraps a window corner, with painted recessed-panel bench bases, upholstered seat and back cushions, and a radiused end cabinet with a curved panel door and a toe-kick vent grille. A freestanding table with a light solid-wood top on sculpted black steel legs sits in the nook. The wide view shows the nook at the end of an open kitchen.

Radiused end cabinet The bench finishes in a curved cabinet with a curved panel door instead of a square corner.
Recessed-panel bench bases Painted panels run along the bench fronts, and the end cabinet has a toe-kick vent grille.
